Forecasting Tennis Outcomes

Predicting the outcome of a tennis match requires a keen understanding of the sport, an in-depth analysis of various factors, and the ability to interpret data effectively.

Tennis we only track official ATP and WTA events for the current season. This means we do not track any Challenger, ITF, or Futures competitions (we do not show predictions or statistics for these competitions). We only show (and count) singles matches.

Our predictions are designed to provide you with the necessary data to better understand the potential outcomes of tennis matches. While our predictions are based on accurate statistics, they should not be considered a 100% guarantee.

Remember, statistics are accurate, but the final outcome of a game depends on the dynamic (or sometimes random) nature of sports.

Tips for Turning Predictions into Winning Bets:

What you should consider before betting

Player Form: Analyze recent performances to assess a player's form, considering factors such as win-loss record, winning streak, and results against various opponents.

Playing Style: Each player has a unique style that can influence the game's outcome. Analyze serving consistency, shooting ability, defensive skills, and adaptability to different surfaces. We provide this data for each player for the current season.

Head-to-Head Records: Evaluate historical matches between players to identify patterns or advantages one side may have over the other. The forecast page provides H2H details for each surface.

Physical Conditions: Consider a player's physical conditions and potential injuries as they can significantly impact their performance and results. This type of information usually appears in the news.

Analyze Player Statistics: Evaluate serving efficiency, including first serve percentage, serves per game, and break points saved. A strong serve often gives a player an advantage in the game. Also consider a player's ability to break the opponent's serve, such as return percentage and break point conversion rate.

Evaluate players' records on different surfaces such as hard courts, clay or grass. Some players may excel on specific surfaces (e.g. Nadal on clay, Djokovic on grass or Medved on hard courts, etc.).

External influences: Weather, such as wind, sunny/cloudy days, or extreme heat, may work for or against certain players. Consider the importance of tournaments to the participants. Some players may prioritize prestigious tournaments or perform well in their home countries. Players with higher stakes are likely to show greater determination and focus.

Types of Tennis Wagers

Match Winner: Betting on the outright winner of a match is the most common and straightforward market.

Total Matches: This market involves betting on the total number of matches played in a match.

Handicap Betting: Handicap markets adjust a player's perceived advantage or disadvantage by adding or subtracting games or sets. This makes the odds more balanced.

Tip: Sometimes it’s nice to bet while watching a game, so take advantage of this. You can watch the matches online directly with the bookmaker or directly on TV. Check the predictions page to see if any live broadcasts are available.

Tennis betting and predictions are a little different from other sports because we are talking about an individual sport. There is no team strength to rely on, which can sometimes save players who are out of form. Each tennis player is an individual, so their overall shape is very important.
